End User Practitioner

The User Management Practitioner will be responsible for efficiently handling user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


User Account Management:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of user accounts, including user creation, modification, and deactivation.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date user information is maintained in the user management systems.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather user access requirements and implement appropriate access controls.

Access Management:

  • Administer user access rights and permissions to various systems, applications, and data.
  • Conduct regular access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve access-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.

User Provisioning and de-provisioning:

  • Efficiently handle user onboarding and offboarding processes, including the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts, access rights, and resources.
  • Work closely with HR and other departments to ensure the timely and accurate provisioning of access for new employees, as well as the prompt removal of access for departing employees.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of user management processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Generate regular reports on user access, provisioning status, and compliance metrics.
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in user management practices.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide user support and guidance related to user accounts, access controls, and self-service tools.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides to educate employees on user management best practices.

Security and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure user access controls align with security policies and industry best practices.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to user management and access controls.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to proactively address emerging threats.


  • 2+ years of IT experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies.
  • Knowledge of Powershell.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ITSM foundation training is required.


  • Proven experience in user management, access controls, or identity and access management (IAM) roles.
  • Familiarity with user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management tools.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
