Cloud Engineer

Puebla, Mexico

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for providing design, deploying, configuring and support of different public cloud vendors. The Engineer will have to stay up to date with offered public cloud services and micro-services, so you can integrate them into your ecosystem as soon as possible. Regular research and studying of new applications are a primary responsibility.

General Accountabilities

  • Experience working and understanding Azure Monitoring tool and Dashboards.  

  • Experience on VDC (Virtual Data Centre) to create Data Center on Azure using HUB-Spoke Model.  

  • Expertise on maintaining on Azure platform service like but not limited to Active Directory, RBAC (Custom Roles), PIM, Virtual Machine, Storage, vNet, NSG, DDoS, Network Watcher, Firewall, Azure Policies, Security Center, Log Analytic Workspace, Automation Acct/ Runbooks/ DSC, Data Factory/ IR, Update Management, Event Grid/Hub, AKV, User Defined Route, WebAppGateWay, Load Blancer, Traffic Manager, CND, etc.  

  • Experience in designing and implementing centralized reporting, alerts, and notifications in a multi-account public cloud environment. (AWS, Azure) for backups

  • Experience in planning and the implementing of a backup strategy for AWS (EBS Volumes, EC2 Instances, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, EFS, AWS Storage Gateway volumes) and Azure (VMs, managed Disks, File shares, SQL server in VMs, Blobs) in a hybrid-cloud working environment.

  • Experience with AWS and Azure user roles, groups and permissions

  • Experience in securing backup storage vaults (replication, security, cyber-vaults)

  • Experience creating detailed documentation for knowledge hand-off to MSK employees.

  • Developing hybrid-cloud backup strategy. ie., on-prem to cloud migration and recovery, cloud to cloud, etc



Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • ITSM foundation training required.

  • AZ104 – Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (preferred), training required.


  • 3+ years of IT experience.

  • 1+ years on Cloud platforms.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience on Azure platform administration.

  • Experience working with multicultural teams and customers.

  • Self-motivated and disciplined.

  • Excellent meeting facilitation skills, including teleconference and web conference.

  • Ability to make decisions and resolve incidents.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to Management, team members and customers.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite.

  • Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule responding to critical issues.
