SAP EDI Consultant: PI/PO Modules

JOB SUMMARY

The SAP EDI Consultant is a position that provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment where they have to be monitoring our and customer infrastructure and resolve any incident that appears

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Takeover of incoming customer requests and incidents in SAP and non-SAP area

· Dispatch incoming tickets to the respective teams

· Effectively collaborate with 2nd and 3rd level teams

· Transfer and development of the business processes of our customers

· Take on ticket resolution for dedicated services

· Follow-up on ticket resolution and ensure escalation of ticket where necessary

· Ensure timely resolution of tickets

· Provide input for process improvements

· Documentation of the processes and applications

· Daily monitoring of EDI interfaces and MDG +troubleshooting

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Knowledge in the SAP PI/PO instance
Knowledge with XML definitions
Knowledge on EDI message types 850, 860, 856, 810 transactions
Knowledge working with B2B adapter for designing and developing EDI mappings
Knowledge of SAP IDOC processing and monitoring services including the SAP PI IDOC sender and receiver adapters to transform messages from SAP IDOC to XML format
Knowledge of SAP client / server proxy technology

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

· Bachelor's degree preferred.

· ITSM foundation training desired.

· Fluent English language skills required: verbal and written communication.

· Nice to have: Know-how in basic MDG data models/ UI / Workflows; configuration, data replication framework.

· Self-motivated and disciplined.

· Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.

· Strong investigative and analysis skills.

· Strong technical and process design and implementation skills.

· Strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
